LITTLE BEE PROJECT featured in "Welcome to BUTTERMILK KITCHEN" by Suzanne Vizethann

We’re so excited to get our hands on a copy of Chef Suzanne Vizethann’s recently released cookbook!

Great local suppliers are acknowledged throughout, but Suzanne features Little Bee Project honey on page 60 while providing insight to how her passion for fried chicken, biscuits and honey originated. Suzanne writes that honey and biscuits are “a match made in taste bud heaven”, and recalls the importance of sourcing great honey when she first opened Buttermilk Kitchen.

Buttermilk Kitchen has been serving Little Bee Project honey for nearly a decade. We’re incredibly proud to partner with folks like Suzanne who bring an authentic passion to everything they do. When dining at Buttermilk Kitchen, that authenticity is evidenced by the entire staff who deliver sincere hospitality and sophisticated comfort food made from great, local ingredients. Suzanne’s passion for great ingredients is shared by the entire team. It’s common for the staff to visit the farms that supply the restaurant, and just a few weeks ago, Suzanne donned a veil to join Steve in a morning hive inspection at Apiary No. 800 - Mansour Farm in Ormewood Park.

I’m overdue for a Buttermilk Kitchen Chicken Biscuit, but until my next visit, I’m going to dive into this cook book. A batch of Honey-Lavender butter with Little Bee Project honey No. 1025 is first on the list. Get a copy for yourself at Buttermilk Kitchen, and some Little Bee Project honey to go with it!
